Our Story
Xenon arc was founded in 2010 to transform how specialty chemical and ingredient producers go to market with a smart alternative to traditional distribution that extends our clients' brands.
Our name reflects this commitment. Just as a xenon arc bulb delivers the closest manmade form of natural light, we're the closest thing to your business that isn't you, bringing clarity, consistency, and brand fidelity to every customer interaction.
From day one, our model centered on dedicated, producer-branded units we call Exterprises. Today, that model is known as XaDirect, our branded channel-to-market approach for reaching and growing difficult-to-serve customer segments.
In 2024 and 2025, we acquired Brandt Technologies and JNS-SmithChem. Drawing on their deep CASE distribution expertise, we created XA Solutions, our tech-enabled distribution arm, to broaden our capabilities and give clients two distinct go-to-market options.
